The GoCarma app uses data to identify the vehicle in which you are traveling, including data we receive from toll operators about toll transactions.

However, a great way to improve and accelerate GoCarma's ability to identify the vehicle you are in is to confirm your vehicle's Bluetooth system ID. This will enable GoCarma to check when your phone has a Bluetooth connection to your vehicle.

To confirm your vehicle's Bluetooth connection, simply follow the instructions when you add the vehicle, or at any time:

  • Open the GoCarma app

  • Tap on the menu

  • Tap on Vehicles

  • Tap on the Edit icon next to your vehicle (only the owner of the vehicle will see this icon)

  • Tap on Connect Bluetooth

  • Ensure you are sitting in your car and your phone is connected to your vehicle's Bluetooth system (to listen to audio or to make phone calls)

  • Tap the Connect Bluetooth button

  • Tap to select your vehicle's Bluetooth ID

That's it! Next time you drive in a TEXpress Lane, the app will know which vehicle you are traveling in.

Note: GoCarma does not collect any travel data outside of TEXpress Lane corridors, or outside of weekday peak periods.
