How do I set up a GoCarma Pass?

Here's what to do when you receive your GoCarma Pass in the mail.

Good news! GoCarma Pass Not Required For New Vehicles

From the launch of GoCarma v2.0 when you add a new vehicle, you will not need to receive or activate a GoCarma Pass for your vehicle.

If you already have a GoCarma Pass in your vehicle, you should leave it there.

  1. Take the GoCarma Pass out of the envelope and remove the plastic battery tab if there is one.  

  2. Bring the GoCarma Pass to your car.

  3. Open the GoCarma app and tap on the menu. The menu is in the top left corner of the screen. 

  4. Select the Vehicles menu item. 

  5. Tap to Setup the GoCarma Pass.

  6. Follow the in-app instructions to complete the setup.

  7. When prompted, place the GoCarma Pass in the glove box of your car.

Tip:  To confirm that the GoCarma Pass is activated correctly, just go to the Home screen when you're in the car and make sure that it says "In Car."
